ECL Language tests

It is a global European language assessment scheme that provides accreditation for language abilities at levels from beginner to advanced in 15 European languages. Parts of the ECL exam are fully aligned with the levels described in the CEFR (Common European Framework for Reference) published by the Council of Europe in 2001, which describe the ability to learn languages from a conversational perspective

Pearson VUE

Pearson VUE develops a system of electronic testing and conducts certification of specialists with the help of the largest, ultra-modern, multi-level protection system, network in more than five thousand test centers around the world. Pearson VUE works with public enterprises and educational organizations, IT companies and communities, including: Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, Apple, Symantec, Novell, Intel, Citrix, IBM.

ETS TOEIC

This is a test of English language skills, aimed at candidates who want to get a position in an English-speaking international company. The structure of the TOEIC test is in many ways inspired by the structure of the TOEFL test, but the main difference between the two is in their purpose. TOEIC is designed to assess the English language skills of people who have to work in an international environment.

TOEFL iBT

This is a test, the successful results of which are a necessary condition for admission to many colleges and universities in the USA, Canada and other countries of the world, for participation in various foreign internship programs in institutions where teaching is conducted in English. In addition, TOEFL is used to determine the level of English language proficiency by many government structures and international organizations. TOEFL is also recognized in Great Britain.

National admission test for law (LNAT)

This is a test that helps assess the potential of candidates and allows educational institutions to determine the possibility of their passing the programs. Consequently, the LNAT was designed to help university administrations learn more about individual candidates and their ability to study law and legal sciences. To do this, the complex of their intellectual abilities is evaluated, rather than knowledge of certain subjects, measuring their abilities in critical reasoning, understanding, and mastery of the written English language.

TORFL (ТРКИ)

This test of knowledge of the Russian language as a foreign language (TORFL) is an exam for foreigners who wish to continue their studies or get a job in Russia, and which meets the best European quality standards. The testing system was developed by philologists of the Russian language to enable an objective assessment of language skills and is administered by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

Test Of Legal English Skills (TOLES)

Language Cert International ESOL

This is a test of knowledge of the English language at all levels of the Common European Framework (CEFR). The exam is developed by one of the leading exam boards in Great Britain, LanguageCert, which is regulated by Ofqual, the Ministerial Department for Qualifications and Examinations in England. The ESOL test meets the qualification criteria of the European Association of Language Test Developers (ALTE).

CERTIFICATE OF THE UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

An attestation commission has been established on the basis of the Academy to organize and conduct attestation of persons applying for public service regarding fluency in the state language. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service” and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Organization of Attestation of Persons Applying for Public Service Regarding Fluency in the State Language” dated April 26, 2017, No. 301, the Ukrainian Medical Academy provides attestation services and according to its results, issuing a certificate of fluency in the state language.

As statistics show, the above-mentioned exams are the most relevant and popular among the population to confirm speech competence, language skills and abilities. They make it possible to fully test the speaking competences of scientific and scientific and technical personnel, holders of academic titles at the level of foreign language proficiency B2-C2, which is provided for by international qualification frameworks, departmental by-laws of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, etc.

Can understand almost everything he hears or reads without difficulty. Can extract information from various oral or written sources, summarize it and make a reasoned presentation in a coherent form. Can express himself spontaneously, very quickly and precisely, differentiating the subtlest shades of meaning in quite complex situations.

 

 

Separate international exams were developed specifically for the purpose of assessing the candidate’s professional competence, and their results can be presented at the place of demand as documents that confirm continuous professional development, professional development and academic mobility.

It is important to note that the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 3, 2019, No. 283 (https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/283-2019-%D0%BF#Text)summarized the list of test certificates that the level of knowledge of a foreign language can be confirmed, with the establishment of an imperative requirement in terms of the presence of a criterion of compliance with the All-European recommendations on language education.

Also, in accordance with the Procedure for awarding academic titles to scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers, which underwent significant changes in terms of excluding the provision of an exhaustive list of recommended international tests to confirm the level of knowledge of a foreign language, it is established that the academic title of professor, associate professor, senior researcher is assigned to employees higher education institutions, including postgraduate education institutions, which have a certificate in accordance with the All-European recommendation on language education (at a level not lower than B2).
