The training center for practical training is a structural unit of the APEMH «UMA». The purpose of the activity is the planning, methodical support and control of the organization and implementation of practical training of the students of the Academy by improving their language competence, language professional and communicative competence of teachers, supporting the international mobility of students and teachers, increasing the general level of mastery of modern foreign languages.
Experienced specialists work in the center – certified teachers who have relevant international certificates.
After completing the basic course of a foreign language and successfully passing the exam (testing), the student receives a state-style Certificate of the Academy of Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Health “Ukrainian Medical Assembly” indicating the level of foreign language proficiency and the number of academic hours studied.
According to the All-European Recommendations on language education, there are six levels of language proficiency, which were developed by the Association of Language Testers ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe): introductory (Breakthrough or A1), intermediate (Waystage or A2), or elementary level; frontier (Threshold or B1), advanced (Vantage or B2), or independent user level; autonomous (Effective Operational Proficiency or C1) and competent (Mastery or C2), or the level of an experienced user. They cover the range from basic to almost flawless language proficiency.
Main areas of activity:
- teaching foreign languages with the provision of course completion certificates (English, Spanish, German, Russian);

- teaching of specialized foreign languages (medical English, legal English);
- international certification of the level of knowledge of foreign languages based on relevant exams
- teaching the state language for foreign citizens.
