The academy has operationally owned dormitories – these are complexes with household services and industrial premises. The Academy’s dormitories are intended for shared accommodation with self-service. Persons who are accommodated in dormitories must know and strictly follow the “Rules of Internal Procedure in Dormitories” and the terms of the Contract for the right to live in a dormitory. APEMH “UMA” in issues of providing access to living in dormitories is guided by the provisions of the Housing Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine “On Education”, the Orders of the Ministry of Health “On some issues of continuous professional development of doctors”, “On the certification of junior specialists with medical education”, Decrees of the President of Ukraine “On measures to reform the system of training specialists and employment of graduates of higher educational institutions”, sanitary-epidemiological requirements for the organization of accommodation, equipment, and maintenance of dormitories for students and the Statute of the Academy.
They are provided for accommodation for the period of study of citizens and foreign students of the Academy, scientific and pedagogical workers.
All living rooms and premises of maternity hospitals comply with sanitary and epidemiological standards and are equipped with everything necessary and in the necessary quantity:
- beds;
- linens;
- toilets and bathrooms;
- kitchens;
- wardrobes and boxes for temporary storage of personal belongings.
Unauthorized persons, as well as other organizations and institutions, are not allowed to stay in the dormitory.
The territory of the dormitories and all living rooms or utility rooms must be adapted in accordance with hygienic rules and landscaping: properly cleaned, accessible outbuildings, special places for storing household equipment, proper communal services of the territory of the complex.
Persons living in the Academy’s dormitories have the right to:
- for the use of the provided living space, all furniture and other inventory, as well as utility services;
- for the timely replacement of damaged furniture, bed linen or other equipment, as well as the elimination of deficiencies in housing and household services.
- Persons living in the Academy’s dormitories are obliged to:
- strictly observe and fulfill the requirements in accordance with the rules of living in dormitories, rules of internal order and fire safety;
- to ensure the integrity of residential premises, to treat sanitary and technical and other equipment of the Academy’s dormitories with care;
- maintain cleanliness and order in residential premises and common areas;
- pay for accommodation in dormitories in a timely manner;
- to compensate for the material damage caused to the hostels.
The Academy, in turn, provides students with living quarters, concludes a contract for renting a living space with each client and fulfills all the terms of the contract in full. Conducts settlements with clients, places them in accordance with the terms of the contract, and undertakes not to disclose information about clients that is confidential.
Rooms for accommodation are provided only upon presentation of a passport or other document certifying identity provided by current legislation. Upon check-in at the dormitory, foreigners and their accompanying persons must present a valid visa for entering Ukraine. Each client who lives in the dormitory must inform the employees in advance about the date and time of departure from the room.
In case of damage caused by a person living in the dormitory, in accordance with the terms of the contract, the Academy promotes by all possible measures, guided by the current legislation, the compensation of the damage caused by the client.
